2008 Annual Hosting charge is £195 per year to include all email, stats, optimisation and as many revisions as you need ! Average price for the design of a website is around the £200 mark. This means as an average you will pay £395 for you first year as this includes the design and then £195 for the subsequent years. I know of no other webdesign firm who is as open and honest about their prices as to publish them on their website !
