The lakelandWeb is an exciting project undertaken by us which started in 2002 with the realisation that most of the Lake District web sites just didn't appeal to the target audience. That is large scale advertising website do nothing to inspire and attract, and so the idea of a magazine based series of websites evolved. These started with the Hugely successful WasdaleWeb Site which currently attracts Thousands of unique visitors every day and has won a string of awards. The project is now rolling out further with the ButtermereWeb set to go online in Summer 2005, followed by 5 other Valley based sites and a grand unifying site which will challenge the main Lake District Sites when it comes out of beta testing in Early 2008.
